Alan, I hope the green one isn't for peeing in!

I made us tea with the contents on the last trip

Oh, need to grab another trip soon

stormfield wrote:for coffee, these Smartcafe mugs are great. It's tough plastic so perfect for packing.

Stick the coffee + hot water in, let it brew then push the filter down. Ready to drink.

Works with loose tea as well.
Something tells me that is another bit of camping gear I didn't know I needed 5 mins ago!

Thanks for the thought-this was considered the ground was hard (stones) so no risk of bike sinking. Side stand failing also considered but prepared to take the risk.

Don't read my review from a year or so back then, or you'll be waiting outside Dyas tomorrow morning for the doors to open. http://www.adventurebikerider.com/forum ... html#66363

After going on a few rallies and learning what works for me, my tips are;
1) Have a full size power socket on the bike to recharge phone etc.
2) Carry wet wipes, you can at least wash your bits with them.
3) carry spare tent pegs.
4) I carry an empty 2l milk bottle - saves getting up in the night.
5) Always take a warmer sleeping bad than the one you think you need
6) Always take too much of whatever you need, it's better to be looking at it, than for it!!
