for coffee, these Smartcafe mugs are great. It's tough plastic so perfect for packing.

Stick the coffee + hot water in, let it brew then push the filter down. Ready to drink.



Works with loose tea as well.

Something tells me that is another bit of camping gear I didn't know I needed 5 mins ago!

Got myself a washing bowl this year, bloody handy but not for peeing in :sick:
Fold up small and no weight at all.

Thanks for the thought-this was considered the ground was hard (stones) so no risk of bike sinking. Side stand failing also considered but prepared to take the risk.

After going on a few rallies and learning what works for me, my tips are;
1) Have a full size power socket on the bike to recharge phone etc.
2) Carry wet wipes, you can at least wash your bits with them.
3) carry spare tent pegs.
4) I carry an empty 2l milk bottle - saves getting up in the night.
5) Always take a warmer sleeping bad than the one you think you need
6) Always take too much of whatever you need, it's better to be looking at it, than for it!!

it let,s you pack your bike and then sit on with no danger of falling over
