Great idea and well executed, can't believe I missed this thread originally. I have a set if Held soft panniers so will be making a set if these up myself....

Had ace fun doing this today. Took a while to find some hose and I could only find clear braided in the end but I'm really happy with how it ended up.
It took a fair amount of WD-40 to get the bar into the hose. Then for bending I dug out the old vice that came in the house and after much hunting for a guide pipe I had to use an old rotary washing line!
Like others there was a lot of offering up involved and I ended up redesigning the exhaust side so I need another bracket. However the side I finished is looking better than I could have hoped. And all for £12.
