Took last September somewhere in Switzerland.One of my fav pics of the whole trip and pretty much sums up why I love biking in one pic.

Me too, not been to Switzerland, but done the Alps in France, Italy, Austria and Slovenia, all brilliant, all like this! B)

This is why we really love biking -
We broke down in Trelew, Argentina while on our RTW trip. Lucky for us it was outside the workplace of this guy, Chris, who not knowing us from Adam, came out to see what was going on and if he could help. He spoke no English and our Spanish was at a 2 year olds level. The bike not starting he offered to tow us to a mechanic he knew where we were then left in their capable hands. 3 hours later (after siesta) Chris returned with his girlfriend, Gabby, who spoke a little English. Long story short - we had picked up water and iron filings in fuel we got at Puerto Pyramides so a complete stripdown and clean up was required, they estimated it would take about 3 days fitting us in between their other work. Chris and Gabby loaded our gear into their car and gave up their bed in a 1 bed flat for us, arranged a bike for us to use and organised with other friends to entertain us while we were stranded. Just wish I could find better pics.
