Re: A quick test drive .. !!!!
Well, you could drive like a girl and the quote would be "Ooh it's a great bike", you could ride it like a demon, the quote would be "this is interesting shit!"!
It's a cracking bike, after ABS and LBS on the Honda Varadero it takes you back to basics. This kind of takes you back to feeling the brakes, just like a sportsbike. A good thing? Well,,,,, it's certainly interesting!
Not as bad coming from the brakes on a Transalp but slight difference, on the lines of going over to a sportsbike brakingwise!
Still recommend the Tiger, cracking bike, makes riding fun again!

We had one number tonight mate, no luck here so no new Blade for me! LOL!
Still sing the bike's praises, the Tiger's a great bike, lots of power. The BMW 800GS beats it hands down for economy though so depends what you're looking for,,,,, Royal Enfield do a diesel if it's economy????
Been car hunting this week, Vauxhall Antara looking favourite for now, just need to raise the cash!

Stay Calm ... Stay Calm ..
Ok, so update , took off the petrol tank, air cleaner ass, degreased and cleaned the valve cover .. replaced making sure everything was clean etc, rubber oil seal (gasket) looked OK , lightly coated with silicon high temp grease ..
So reassambled , test drive .. still small leak ..
OH MY HEAD
ordered a new oil seak / gasket thingie from Lings , .. so its take everything apart again ..
Did toy with the idea that the cover may be slightly warped and I have assembled wrong way round, ,as the inspec. cover can go either way round (correct me if I am wrong). And stupidly did not mark which way round the plate went when it originally came off.
Also toyed with the idea of using some type of instant gasket Hylomar blue, but not sure about that one as the oil seal is rubber.. ?
Anyways , wait for oil gasket to come and give it a try ..
Any advice regarding my suggestions above would be helpful , has anyone else had this issue ..
REAR CYCL , Front Inspec Cover (nearest V) ..
And to top it Off , I have Man Flu ...
Good News is the Annealing Worked a Treat on the coolant drain washer..
NO LEAKS HURRAY

Sorry Craig without seeing it couldn't say, but I think you can put them on either way. I seem to remember doing that once but it was obviously wrong? Not sure.
Try turning it round and see if it looks better? The new gasket will cure it, never mind mate.
