I am with you

Never been to IOM for TT - couldn't think of anything worse than being stuck on a small island with 1000's of bikers

I usually avoid the usual biker haunts in Yorkshire too

I much prefer the road less travelled, over the tops or down a quiet valley and a nice tea room with home made wholesome food, not some greasy crap at a biker cafe

I am a motorcyclist and NOT a biker
I agree totally. I too have never been to any "biker" cafes, or the I.O.M. etc, but I do like to ride, normally on my own.
I think you're right with the distinction between a motorcyclist and a biker.
1+, like to ride on my own or with the wife pillion.

If you seriously think I'm going to post pictures of my wife from 25 or 30 years ago you're mistaken :)

I'll see if I can find anything slightly more suitable for a bunch of middle aged pervs. It worries me enough when my wife shows me pictures my 29 year old daughter posts on facebook without encouraging you lot on here :pinch:

Strange question.
So I went onto the tinterweb to see if I was a biker. Turned out I'm not, just a dopey old fart that rides motorbikes. Shit man, I never felt so uncool. I'm going to spend my pennies on a Belstaff jacket, skinny leather look jeans and hang around any café with a bit of checker black and white paint

In answer to the OP and reading all the posts following it, I seriously have no idea what box to put myself in.

In the not too distant past I have ridden with Hells Angels, wheelie hooligans (tried without success to emulate them!), ridden on charity rallys, been to the Isle of Man numerous times, ridden to many BSBs, WSBs and MGPs, ridden with the TRF on legal dirt roads, taken my S10 on Austin Vince's mountain madness event in Spain and to cap it all have ridden with the boss all over North and South America.

WTF am I ????
