If I wanted a van for daily use which would occasionally carry a bike or two, i'd get another Vivaro/Trafic/Primastar. If I wanted something to regularly carry a couple of bikes, i'd get another high roof MWB Movano/Master/Interstar.

Here in Spain, you have to be careful how such vehicles are classified regarding their use. They can be classed as cars, commercials or multi-use vehicles. If you buy one that is classed as a car, and use it to move goods which aren't yours or are for business use, you can be fined and the vehicle embargoed.

Vivaro/Trafic/Primastar

Now I'm a filthy contractor rather than a wage slave I need to buy myself a van and the ability to be able to transport bikes in it comes well down the list of must have features.

I reckon it'll cost me about £5k more to buy a big enough van to transport bikes after I've put racking and tool boxes in there plus the fuel consumption will dip considerably so I'd sooner prioritise work requirements plus a bit of extra luxury over the bikes and hire a bigger van when I need one.

I do have a contact who will sort out good deals on new or low mileage used vans so if anyone wants the details feel free to drop me a pm and I'll pass his details on. No personal gain for me but if he can save you a few quid then I'm happy to help (thumbs)

Ive got a Peugeot expert 20ltr lwb high top , you can get two bikes in no probs , no taking screens are mirrors of .it drives like a car and seats three up front .

I've had a Vito 111 Long Dualiner for years. It's awesome. Easily fits two sports bikes. My Tiger went in minus the screen and mirrors. 40mpg if you're not caning it. Never had anything go wrong (hoping I'm not speaking too soon). Drives like car.

It's a Vivaro Spud, lovely to drive.

I've got a 59 plate long wheelbase high top Fiat Scudo which now has 76,000 miles on the clock and apart from a few niggles has been fine. I have used for my business for nearly three years now and I have had several different bikes in the back including my VFR800. Van great as being a shortass I can stand up in the back and have slept in the back on several occasions as well.
