Excellent choice you've made Chas - I use the older version 2 man tent and it can withstand a Spanish summer hailstorm so is more or less indestructible. (thumbs)

The new design is more spacious too. And as for budget bedding try the Thermarest Z-Lite, cheap as chips and actually not much problem to pack, including just strap it on the outseide of your luggage like hikers do. It's inherently puncture free and wipes dry in a jiffy. We always take them with other camping kit in the car for extra ground insulation if we need it.
