Just a few pic's from the trip, I had a great time and the weather was spot on for the whole trip (thumbs) ended up staying in Hotel ( Pension ) Schwaben in Manderscheid, really nice place and people, lots to see and do and mile after mile of twisties (thumbs)
Just West of the Rur dam I found this great biker cafe.

The Dam

The neighbors house in Manderscheid

An American air base

Heading into Cockem.

Brattie stop, just don't mention extra HOT currywurst....
Headed back via a weekend at Bike Normandy, which was great as ever (thumbs)

Glad you had a good time. Just got back myself...had 4 days in Valwig, a few km on the opposite side of the Mosel from Cochem. Great area for bikes, we headed a different direction each day and the riding and scenery were superb....never realised the area had sooooo many hairpins.....great practice of you ever want to visit the Alps!
We also had a couple of days in Koblenz so as we could have a bike free day, then a day in Monschau and one at the Mohnesee dam....another suprisingly nice area.
