I'm in Radlett and Hatfield today and tomorrow can I come and collect?

Cheers

Although there's nothing wrong with the mount Picos is including there Bren I'd advise you get the Garmin rugged mount for it. 2 reasons:

1. using the micro USB socket for power will mean the unit is not 100% waterproof. The rugged mount uses the external pins.
b) there's anecdotal evidence that the micro USB port is prone to failure through vibration if used to power the unit on the move.

The rugged mount is Β£30. Like I said, nowt wrong with it, I'm sure there are 1000's of happy users and it's still a good deal. It's got the camera and bigger internal memory (thumbs)

Happy fiddling. Feel free to ping any questions here B)

Just picked it up, thanks Brian Picos :)

Nice to see this forum making good things happening.

ACP I will probably go for a powered mount. I had already been looking at them on Amazon.

This new toy will keep me out of trouble for a little while (thumbs)

Agreed, that is a bargain. Once you get used to the different profiles for different uses you'll love it. Talky toaster will get you a good map for the trails in the UK for free.
Finally back on a GS :D
