Agree you get what you pay for....... My tiger 800 xc costs £8,799 OTR..... Does it really cost that much to make one.
I would buy one. @ 155kg's it is 50 lighter than my Tiger 800, and looks like it could be a bridge between the out and out KTM, green laner and the bigger 800/650 GS,Tiger's.
At £3,600 OTR that is cheaper than DRZ money, plus you can commute on it, with panniers etc. I would say 2nd bike, winter commuter/ green laner..
Also I would wait until 2016, because then they have to fit ABS to it to.

I was about to say the same, having started looking at DRZs to maybe upgrade my DR350, this looks lovely and commutable too. Alternatively I could get it for Wifey to ride, (which wouldn't be very often) and for me to use 'occasionally'!

If its reliable then its a bargain and would make a great second bike/commuter.

There is a very small write up in the new mag about this bike but as I stated earlier this is the prototype bike they used, also the engine is a well known tried and tested lump, I believe but could be wrong, it's in a CCM bike, Earnshaws mechanic assured me that any faults on the prototype will be ironed out on the sale models, that is why they produced the prototype first for Earnshaws to give it a thorough check out. some one mentioned BMW engines being made in China, I've heard this also and I believe this company does make Suzuki engines and also they produce Piaggio scooters. In my honest opinion, I think this bike is great, if a little under powered but it is capable of 80+ MPH.

In that case I would buy one before 2016 ...... never had ABS and don't want it forced on me
