I use those Friedland wireless alarms, they even phone you if the alarm is triggered, a bit pricy though.

No matter what sort of security you have, you can only deter or delay entry.

You would have to use a system to actively engage the intruders to be really successful, this of course is not possible in this country.

Maybe if you had a couple of large dogs behind a remotely controlled door triggered by the alarm but even this is dodgy in this country.

I can see where you're coming from...

But as a dog owner myself, I'm extremely cautious of this sort of approach,
esp. after hearing about a couple of dogs getting nack'd with cross-bow bolts
a few years ago... think it was on Crimewatch........

Now that, even more then the general thievery, incurs my greatest wrath.
Hope I never come across that sort of person....... :angry:
