I will echo what everyone has said so far, well done Dave, great weekend, great weather and great company, 30 guys sitting around a campfire sipping beers on a Saturday is actually pretty cool. Nice ride out as well, clocked 180 miles and a total ride time of 6hrs.

Average mpg on the tigger 800 was 53mpg. So better than my commute into work. Buddy seemed to work pretty well, only a couple of mishaps. but great fun. Shame the Ford had no water in it, maybe it will in November.

Hope to do the off road ride out next time, as will be on knobbles by then, so looking forward to that, will post some video and photos on when i get round to it.

Big thanks to Davsato for sorting the W/E and everyone else for making it such a friendly and welcoming weekend, and also the ride leaders for putting the work in .
I was on tea007's ride and you would have thought that he had been ride leading for years, the ride was spot-on, although he did take the military side of it a bit far... :huh: :laugh: by taking cover from the enemy in the long grass and the bushes, he must be really good, because I couldn't even see the blighters, but he assures me they were there.. :laugh: , and to keep on the tactical deception side, we had our names changed every time we stopped. :dry: :laugh:

Bit confused here, stewie. That Transalp, doesn't look like it had knobbles on it. Actually they look similar to my trail tyres. Given the choice I would have put my name down for one of the off road rides. But I got the impression that it was knobbly tyres only, which put me off. Bearing it in mind that it was sooo soooo dry, I would have thought that it would be ok for my 800xc.
