was it some american stuff? if so, i bought some, biggest waste of money ever,
i just does not work.
over the years ive tried just about everything from spuds and fairy liquid and lots of potions and lotions, visor inserts etc etc.
i now think ive found the holy grail of fog free,
i now use the fog tech products, they work(for me)
not the cheapest but deffo the best.
i use it on glasses, sun glasses and visor,
just follow the instructions carefully.

My Ex GF works as a dispensing option.

As I have got older I only were glasses for reading.

However I have ridden in cold sunny days wearing sunglasses, they have not misted up until I stop, this indecates to me, the air flow from your mouth is just going up and staying there instead of flowing out of your lid.

As mentioned, this buff device, I have simler however, mine is a Ex Army Warmer, so I place it round my neck up to my chin, I have seen others wear it right up to & past there nose, this will of course mean the cold air has no where to go from, other than
1) wet mouth via nose & mouth
2) up past the nose on to the first cool surface, (Glasses),

I would look & see your air vents, & experiment opening the vents a small amount, the last thing you may want to do is cold air rushing in in winter.

I would suggest you either do in no particular order,

1)Take buff of noes & mouth just high up round neck or at least just below lower lip.
2)The vent thing
3)Visor slightly open, (I would leave this till last as you know this works)

I do scuba diving as another hobby, we use the spit in the mask and rub it all around the glass and rinse out routine to stop the mask from misting up which should work on presciption glasses as well. There are another couple of alternatives one is to rub a cut potato onto the lenses or go to your nearest dive shop and buy a can spray on anti-mist spray completely transparent and germ free.

Another factor to consider is the outside temperature vs against inside the helmet, usualy the best solution is just to leave your visor open a crack to even up the temperature and stop fogging and maintain fresh air.
You need to do some tests to make sure that what ever solution you use does not reduce your visibility especially when riding at night or in very bright sunlight.

Forgot about the washing up liquid trick, remember having some good results with that when I was mountain biking a lot. The juice of a potato is a new one to me... but as both are free I will be trying these first! Can always take it from there...

I went paintballing a while back on a crisp winters morning. I got quite hot & sweaty what with wearing lots of layers & jumping about trying to avoid those pellets (they hurt like b*gg*r).

At one point the visor misted so much I was blind & was open season. It was so bad we had to call stop so I could get the helmet off. Anyway rambling so to the point.

Whatever anti mist they use in their dispensers is amazing, one coating of that & the rest of the day had perfect vision. I wish I knew what it was as worked better than anything else I have ever come across.

Anyone know a paintball worker / owner to get the lowdown?
