Hi Guys
Well had a few interesting days but meant I finally got to use my new matt helmet
Rode Saturday (full of the dreaded man flu!), Monday and today (test)
Im really impressed with the Acerbis helmet, felt comfortable for a full day riding, light and seemed to breath well. Mentioned I was full of cold Saturday but the visor kept clear, something I always struggle with as I seem to breath heavy (to many pies!)...
Plus points for me are the ratchet chin strap, so easy to use and adjust, and really comfortable.
The drop down 2nd visor.(Re-named the Top Gun visor
) Great to use! and takes the pain away of swopping glasses for me.
It also looks great!
One thing I hadn't anticipated, which seems obvious now... When riding around 60mph you get a lot of wind resistance from the Peak! Having never ridden a helmet with a peak it came as a suprise and did make mirror checks interesting... Easy enough to combat by slightly dipping your head but worth taking into consideration.

congrats on passing,was there a lot of wind noise as I will be doing some
road work and some of road.

hi mate how did you go with the new acerbis dual sport helmet?
i like the look sound good, how is it at 70/80 mph.

Road noise seems fine to me... but then again its only the second helmet I've used... at 60 it was fine. As I was on lessons/test I never touched those speeds so couldn't say - should be out on my own after weekend - got a bike but needs putting back together - mostly done
