You know when you’re travelling through some European city and you see imposing doors with courtyards hidden away behind?
This was just like that in Lviv in 2015. Big impressive building all crumbling quietly down but we found a beautiful, restored whole floor of the building converted into an ultra modern hostel.
Great stay for four or five days in an interesting and lovely city.

Greetings Paul, the route is from Grindleford to Eyam, along New Road B6521, which is signed as cul de sac but that is not the full story. The top section is open with an exemption from DCC for solo motorcycles. I think that the signage is quite unique and the view worth looking over to Middleton Moor and Peak Pasture.
I use the Grindleford New Road route up from the B6001 Calver to Hathersage road, care needs to be taken at both ends, then to Eyam and back towards Stoney Middleton along the BOAT, Eyam BOAT 32 Mill Lane. I often continue up the track behind Peak Pasture over and down to Rowland. Good views of Chatsworth.

Hugh.
