I'd used Leathermans for years but I bought a Victorinox SwissTool ten years ago and its just better. I can't kill it, the blades and screwdrivers have stayed true despite constant use. It's much more expensive but worth it in my opinion. Try one if you really want the best.

If you need it for your work, there is not an issue... supposedly. Mine is with me whenever I am work trousers...most of the time :-) So I'll go around a supermarket or into town, but I look honest

Thanks all.
That victoinox looks great but I'd like to give Leatherman my trade. In 2006 I snapped the blade on my one and (after getting over my despair) I got in touch with leatherman. Even though it was bought in Canada 15 years prior they sent me a post bag and 48hours later it was delivered back to me with all new tools on the knife side. Free of charge.
You cannot beat that and I'm happy to give them my trade.

Sorry has to be the Gerber, it has been my every day carry for 25 years as I am a spark.
Has to be Gerber as I can open it with one hand whilst hanging off a ladder.
Have broken the screw driver once forcing it to remove very large screw and the rep replaced it.
