Fibre Glass Tent Poles snapping (Vango)

I know what you mean I have had them break on me in the past

I made some translation blocks for my Vango Zeats

The reason I had to make them was the fibre poles have a Pin the you put in the end and the Alloy poles go into a ringlet so the blocks are small but work a treat



I modified the Alloy poles as I could not get exact length and ended up with 4 Alloy sections spare in case of breakage in the future and I now also carry a repair tube

It cost me for the Alloy poles from China but it was an upgrade for my tent

good idea, i did the same with ptfe blocks and works a treat
