51 but I need the option for "Started family with new missus at 40 so now mortgaged until I'm 65 so every penny is accounted for and biking moments are precious so it's no wonder I drink!"

Happy (in my own little way) though.

56 in May, still working which is having an impact on my adventure aspirations, lots I still want to do like big overland trips. The big problem is TIME, previous trips have always influenced the length of trip  , it would be good to have an open Calendar on this and not have to worry about getting back to work.
Still have 3 teenage sons at home,2 working 1 in education, also have a wonderful wife who generally gives me a free pass out for travelling.
I think the most important thing is having your health, you can have all the money in the world but if your physically knackered it's useless.
Lots planned for this year (thumbs)

62, 63 in August. Full time self-employed. Waiting for State pension at 65 (I hope).
Then I'll struggle to afford biking, so trying to do as much as possible until then.
But I've had some good biking times, so mustn't grumble. :)

I'm 53 single and as free as a bird, I'm mortgage free, and i only go to work because i want to, not because i have to, and its also easy money and it pays for me to blow money on motorbikes and the stuff i want. iv got plenty of time to do the things i want to do and I'm happier now than ever. which all fits in great with motorcycles and adventures.

I am 19 in my head, surfing, listening to and playing music, riding my bikes. I am 70 when I get out of bed in the morning, engage in conversation with teenagers, here children screaming in public places and when I have to attend pointless functions and talk to vacuous people. But I have only lived through 53 summers and 54 winters, yet it seems like more ? I am retiring next year because I just don't see the point in working anymore, I want to make daily decisions on what I need to, rather than have to !
