The CCM and all the other small overland bikes gave me the desire to sort it

The CCM is a quality bit of kit. I am happy this will do what I set out to acheive, a low weight bike capable of travel and off road. It weighs in a 149kgs fully fueled, my Africa Twin is 242kgs - massive weight saving

Yes, only a small but needed filing off due to the Clarke tank

I have a spare seat that I will get Tony Archer to modify and I need to fit the tool tube yet

Thanks Will, I am happy with the stock set up for now

I have adjusted the rear as I felt it was too soft in comparison to the front end. Its the 03 model thgat has the enduro suspension. I don't class myself as good enough off road to warrant any modifications that I could extract such a difference. When I get to its limits (that'll be a long time off yet) then I will review my options at that point.

In terms of my weight and the stock spring I am in the mid range of tolerance. The rear I am at the top end. Time will tell on this one.

Race bike and road bikes is a different story
