As aside with our bikes......make sure both of your air box side covers have a layer of grease on them to keep out dust, where they meet the main air box side.....fill the groove. They arrive with out a rubber seal as a goofy design from the factory. They are not air tight and dust WILL get in and straight to you engine. I've seen it happen.
It will not do any harm also if you shorten your air box drain hose to where it arrives at the wire support. If the rubber bung gets pulled off on rock steps because it hangs way too low, you will also have dusty air getting sucked into your engine.
Just say'in.
I went for a wee ride out today as it was warm........so there.

The DR650 and the XT660Z arrived at my house this afternoon. For info.
In true EDC fashion, and as predicted, the reigns of the president have been handed over.
After a 600km ride one rider disclosed that he'd left his glasses at the previous evenings accommodation.
