everyone I speak to who voted brexit and now a few remainers who voted want it to happen sooner. (thumbs)
Look what Junckers said in the Parliament :whistle: and the EU is going to say it is in a position of strength, wonderful they have done a deal with Japan so how hard is it going to be to do one with us then :whistle: (thumbs) oh I forgot they said they have to punish us and we can't be better off out than in just in case anyone one else thinks of leaving. If they are so strong why do they need to threaten little old UK that's about to sink into the abyss :whistle: oh and there still are tariffs on soft cheese going to Japan (thumbs)
Alan my friend you really need to set an alarm clock and wake up, but perhaps when the tanks rumble passed your farm into the streets on Catalonia you wont need your alarm.
and out of genuine interest if there is a vote for independence how will that effect you ?

In other news...
Japan and the EU have just signed a Free Trade Agreement.
Expect all the Japanese factories in the UK to now relocate to the EU. That includes Nissan, Toyota and Honda.
Before the vote, the Government of Japan took the highly unusual step of writing to the Government of the UK and urged them not to leave the EU.
Can't say we weren't warned.

Thats a great question, and it is what the people of the UK should of been asked about Brexit. I simply don't know how it will affect me. But the Spanish and Catalan mindset is very different to that of the UK. Catalonia IS the financial backbone of Spain. They used to be independent with their own laws, government and customs. I have been welcomed here, as a foreigner who didn't speak their language. I work hard, pay my taxes, respect their way of life. People from all over the globe come here and live and work in harmony. The catalan vote for independence is so they can be recognised again, globally. Britain already had what Catalonia wants, its own language, currency, laws and government. The tanks will never roll through the streets here. Spain is all about enjoying life. Life comes first.

FFS Spud, the UK still has independence. It has border controls. It can choose its own rules regarding immigration. It can choose which people get free healthcare and which don't. It still has its own currency. Road signs are still in imperial measurements. The UK is not ruled by the EU.

The fact that teh UK governments tend to implement each and every EU regulation, is up to them...
Even Norway implements every EU regulation and we aren't even in.... :silly:
