Mike do you want to change the name of this thread, delete the other thread, or merge them both?

Hi,
I have only just picked up on this topic as Dan and I have been in the US, doing the Trans Am Trail on our 690s. It is effectively a 5000-mile trail ride and amazingly scenic in places.
Anyway, we hope to be at the Salisbury Rally. We won't have the 690s back by then but I might take my R1200GS on the easier run - it has only got Tourances on at the moment. Dan has her 350 so might do the more technical run, if there is room. I have Tramp's routes plus others so might be able to lead a group if the numbers are otherwise too great.
Regards,
Dave

Right then folks..
No worries on camping space as there are two fields we can use...plenty of space as those who came last year would have seen.
I will be sorting out a route for the easy and hard folks. I will create a GPX thingy and add it to here as Tramp has done.
I am a bit short of leaders this year but I'm sure all will be well in the end.
Now a new thing for you all and this is out of my control I'm afraid. While I was away in Spain enjoying the sights on the beach I got a text. The upshot of it is that another group of bike riders will also be holding a rally at the same place on the Saturday/Sunday.
I don't know them...Sarum Bikers they are called....they may out a band on or do there own thing in the clubhouse...or we can join in as per the message I received.
I am expecting between 40-60 people to come along this year..don't worry if you name is not on the first page. Just turn up and come enjoy..there is plenty of space there for all of us.
I'll be out and about again this week with my Son so if I don't get back to any questions quickly don't worry...all is good so come enjoy the beer and dust and all the good things that south Wiltshire has to offer...as some found out more than others last year!!!!

I will be riding down from Earls Court on the friday, leaving at 1pm, so will end up at the campsite at about 3pm, so if anyone wants to join me on the way down they can. My CCM is geared for road, so does keep up with the traffic
