Just seen this YouTube video for anyone interested in doing the Sotres route. I’m not sure if the loose gravel has got worse since earlier trips but one of the guys on the video seems to imply that it has.

I saw that a while ago and couldn't remember it being that difficult but maybe they were trying to get up to the cable car station or 'off piste'

It looks like the route I took, I remember the turns and gravel patches.
I think the route up to the cable car is only for authorised vehicles. I did see a sign when I walked up that way.
Sitting here on my sofa, I do miss being out there (or anywhere nice today )

Is this going too small??
Just picked up a 1972 Mobylette. Needs a little work but brilliant fun, and came with a hidden extra in the tool compartment…. A Mars Bar, expired 2016

That wee machine is in excellent conditon for its age - great find.
Now, when's it going to ready for along road trip/test?
Keep em coming Mr Moustache

Took my MV up the A1M today to give it a good spin, Stopped off at Wheels in Peterborough, bought a pair of strides and saw this on the way out . It's a 125 !
Something for someone here maybe ?
Although from what I've been hearing, may just be an ideal GS replacement for a weekend at Radley Hall too ( kitchen sink an' all that )
