Oh I don't like your type of mud. I wrestled my GSA through something like that and that was hard work

Mine was not that bad but unfortunately I believed my mate when he said it's only a 5 min trail.
It took us 3 hours to wrestle our 2 GSA's through that s**t.

Lord Vader....
on your newley fitted k60 on the Ta600 front does it have the word "enduro" on the sidewall?

Reason I ask is because this has a wider tread pattern than the Mud and snow k60 scout..

just adding to the heidenau thread :cheer: ..its very useful too ;)
they are on offer at £38 or £42 which is very good compared ti the mitas E07 the compertion favorite.

Just to add fuel to the fire - ths is Mr X's wicked KTM equally f*****ed by our Pryenean clay. OK, Mr X wasn't quite as useless as me - not at all methinks  - but you get the drift of the landscape - one false swerve and you're into the brink!

Since I had to take it easy anyway I thought I take them down my lane. What a difference to my previous front. I tell you, if you want to become real good offroad use road tires. When you change after a while to knobblies ,it's a piece of psss :woohoo:
I know what other people say about the K60 in mud but I must say I find them ok. Since I only take pics when I fall off or get stuck (which is why I have so many pics of my bike offroad) I got none from today.

Only a dirty Trannie B)

Ok done now the first 1000 miles on them. Not sure why but of all the tires I had on my bikes it seems the Heidis take th longest to settle down. Anyway,I have been now off reading and commuting on them and are very happy with them. Now remember these are the M&S and NOT the scout. When going around a VFR on the outside of a round about you can feel the knobblies moving around a bit. :woohoo:
Nothing scary, just letting you know that you are on knobblies. They are softer than the scout so no surprise there. Very good in the wet but than I never hear a problem with any Heidis in the wet. It's just feels that they grip better if that makes sense.

So this is them after the first 1000. I will keep you guys updated on how they do over time and how many miles get out of them
