A short list but I've enjoyed them all.

Here is my list from the age of 16:-

Honda SS50. 5 speed. Bought when it was a year old, most un-reliable bike I have ever owned
PUCH Grand Prix. 50cc. Fast and reliable
MZ 250 Super 5. Bought new, learned to ride & toured doing 40K miles
Yamaha XS750. Used as much oil as petrol. Got nicked...thankfully
Triumph Bonnie 1959. Restored,
Norton Commando 850. Nice and smooth
Ducati 900SS. 1980 model
Triumph Bonnie T140. 1979
BMW K1. Loved that bike, looking for another
Ducati 900SS 1999 model. Never really liked it.
KTM 300 exc. mental
BMW 1150GS. Amazing bikes,
Suzuki DRZ e 400cc
Harley Davidson Softail Dulux.
Harley Davidson Glide. All Tricked up, Still owned
Triumph Speed Triple 995i. One of the best handling bikes Ive ever ridden
Triumph Bonnie Silver Jubilee T140 still owned
Triumph Sprint ABS. Nice but lacked soul
Triumph Daytona 675 SO Fast, it made every ride a race
BMW 80 GS 1990

Honda SS50 - Gotta start somewhere
MZ TS250 - Gotta try something – wrote off
MZ TS150 - Cheap crash replacement, passed ‘test’
N Triumph T140V - First proper bike – loved it
N Honda CB400T - Sensible despatching choice – detested it!
MZ TS 250/1 - Hated this less
N Suzuki SP370 - Work + weekends, rode it to shreds
N Ducati 900SS - Memorable…
Suzuki TS185 - First enduro – won the ‘TS 185’ class
Yamaha XT500 - Everyone needs an XT5 on their list
Moby 50 - Nicked XT replacement, left it somewhere
N Yamaha IT250G - Sadly uncontrollable
Honda XL250S - Too much the other extreme; good tyres, but

BMW R100S - Second try at BMs but still don’t get it

Honda CD 200 - Did I say ‘works mule’ already?
KTM 600GS - Better than a Tenere? Not really
Suzuki GS450 - I like two-valve twins
Suzuki GS550 - Nicked 450 replacement. Crashed hard – nursey time again

Also rode works:
RS250 – nimble but fragile. Wrote two off in two weeks
CG125 – and?
400/4 – kin’ horrible!
VT500 – awkward

Never touched a CX

After ‘89 slowed down a bit. Current tally [strike]52[/strike] 55. Already eyeing up the next one or two.

I've missed a few but they were mainly race bikes and I'd sometimes only have them for a couple of meetings so they're easily forgotten.

BSA 250 Starfire - 15 years old so a bit naughty.
BSA Bantam D14 - still 15 years old so still a bit naughty.
Puch Maxi - 16 so legal but I was still riding the D14
Yamaha FSIE - Didn't everyone own one?
Yamaha RD200 - I loved that bike but riding it at 16 was probably not a good idea.
Triumph Tiger Cub - my first race bike. Seriously, I raced a Cub.
Honda 250 K4 - Started off as a road bike but then I messed with it and raced it.
Yamaha TD2B - A 2 stroke race bike!
Yamaha TD3C - Another 2 stroke race bike!
Yamaha XS2 650 - An evil handling bike that ended up with a 990cc Hagon grass track engine.
Honda CX500 - Why?
Yamaha RD350 - The older air cooled one. Surprisingly fast for a 350.
Yamaha DT400 - I was in SA at the time and riding off road was easy.
Honda CB750 - Why?
Yamaha TT500 - Wheelies for fun.
Honda CB 500/4 - Ok to ride but gutless.
Kawasaki KH250 - Spotless bike bought for just over £100. That was expensive for a 250 at the time.
250 Maico - A road legal crosser. More wheelies.
Yamaha RD250 - 250 production racer.
Yamaha RD250 - Another 250 production racer after destroying the original one.
Yamaha RD350LC - production racer
Yamaha XT500 - I wanted to ride off road more often so it had to be another XT.
Kawasaki 400S3 - Because I could.
Kawasaki GPZ550 - The first bike I owned that handled well.
Kawasaki GPZ750 - Oh dear!
Ducati 250 Desmo - I want it back.
BMW R100RS - I needed a touring bike and this was the obvious choice.
Suzuki GSX1000 - Destroyed at Snetterton. Never race your only form of transport.
Honda CB900F - Raced in Pirelli endurance championship then sold.
Honda FT500 - Why?
Ducati Pantah 600 - Loud pipes save lives.
Yamaha RD400 - I was skint and it was cheap.
BMW R100 - Nice commuter but the handling :sick:
Yamaha XS650 - I wanted another 650 Yam but had forgotten my old one was tuned.
Harley Davidson 883 Sportster - Everyone should own a Harley
Suzuki GSXR750 - Mad!!!
Honda Fireblade - Not what it was supposed to be.
Kawasaki ZXR750 - Raced in KRC British endurance championship.
Yamaha XT500 - Licence preservation.
Ducati 748 - I hated it but can't remember why.
Kawasaki ZX7R - Another bike for the endurance racing
Kawasaki ZX9R - Wonderful bike. Massively underrated by everyone.
Kawasaki ZX10R - Still got it because it's crazy.
BMW K100RS - Fitted a sidecar on it after a year then sold it to a disabled biker for peanuts.
BMW K1100RS - Just a good high speed tourer. Still got it.
KTM 250EXC - Still got it.
Yamaha 660 Tenere - Still got it.
Ducati 1200 Multistrada - Still got it.
Kawasaki 750 H2 - Shouldn't everyone have a 750 2-stroke? Still got it.
Norton Commando 850 - Still rebuilding it.
