I just bought 1 of these, seems good and versatile so far although it is still winter.

The Acerbis has got the added bonus of a drop down inner sun visor. Would'nt hsve a helmet without one. Great for sunny days or low winter sun.

White/light helmets far better.
A good point but I have a mostly white helmet and I still overheat dramatically when trail riding. I think the helmet air ducting is probably the most important factor.

Haven't rode in it yet as Im waiting to do my test but I have sat in my front room with it one doing my best thumper impression :P :P :P

Fits nice, build quality looks good, buckle is nice... happy with it

Good price as well

If you want to look at any specifics happy to snap some detail shots for you if it helps

I would be interested in your reveiw once you've been able to wear it. The Arai X3 doesn't fit me properly in any size.

I've had an S4 but the visor doesn't shut properly so i get a high pitched wistling noise when riding above 40mph.

I like the look of it but would like to know about.
Comfort when worn all day
Ventliation in heat
Can the visor be removed so it can be worn with goggles

I like this one but don't think there is a uk supplier

Hi FMFox,

Not a problem mate, be happy to.

I will say its a very snug fit, I have the XL and it feels tighter than the Airoh S4, and the Nitro MX450 both I tried at in XL. I have a fat face (it completes my fat look :P :P ) and its snug on the sides...

I will check removability of visor tonight and will report on others after I get a decent ride in... hopefully wont be long... Been stripping bike down to give it a good clean ready with my sites on being passed next month :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hi
Paul here from Sheffield.
Just wondered if you have tested the new acerbis dual sport helmet yet? Would be interested in your review the helmet looks good, price is good and I like the sound of the internal sun visor. I have looked at the AGV AX8 and also the arai tour but it's a bit pricey.
