I don't think it will comply with the ULEZ (westminster) being old. I'm about 10 miles north of Peterborough if that helps. You're right it won't go down well with the ULEZ Stasi, and 200 quid risked getting it tested wouldn't make a viable buy for a Londoner.

Lovely reliable workhorse for someone though, I had one 20 years ago. I should never have ridden it for so long without a screen
It was nicked and when the police located it in West Hampstead there was only the frame to be found.

( I've couple of bikes that need to be unloaded first but if you still have it in a couple of months time I may still be tempted,)

NOW SOLD thanks for the replies--I'm in no rush as I said before--and will use it from time to time as its still a distance bike that also handles well--and with the luggage and rack its easy enough for a weekend away.
