In the late 1970s, a German company called Kramer manufacturered bikes with Rotax engines and a novel rear suspension arrangement a bit like a cantilever Yamaha monoshock, but with two conventional shocks mounted where the Yam's single shock would be.
After the inevitable failure, the business moved to Italy and became Kram-It, with a more advanced floating rear suspension design with a vertical shock
