A must have in Wales..... zero tolerance to speeding... and on the A9 in Scotland...... average speed camera for miles and miles.....
Plus no wrist ache when doing distance on our motorways
Did I mention I love it....

Have it on my GS, scoffed at it when the dealer gave me the test bike ... tried it, loved it. Definitely safer going through villages, don’t have to watch the speed as you know you’re doing 30, so you can focus 100% on the road. Great for motorways too.

My wife’s got it on her GS. As said it’s great for average speed cameras, also handy on motorways - especially on the content where there is less traffic.
It’s also fun to play the hurry up car game. When travelling on a multi lane highway, approaching a car, will the car coming up in the overtaking lane pass you in time for you to pull out behind and overtake, or do you pull out early and make them slow down. The object is to leave the CC on whilst being a considerate rider.
Okay it’s not the most exciting game in the world but if you’ve got a long motorway hack it passes the time - especially when I hear “Oh hurry up you bar****d” over the intercom

The only time i use mine is when there are average speed cameras on the motorway,and your forever knocking it off so you don't run into the back of something,how theses guys use them in built up areas is beyond me.Came back from ullapool a couple of weeks ago 460 miles never used it once.keyless ignition is a far better option in my opinion,but someone will have something to say about that.

Another fan for use in average speed zones

have it on my gs , love it particularly useful in france with the 80km speed limits

no history with cc but them throttle palm rest things may not be the best for the delicate heated element/printed wrap of your heated grip.

I had it on my RT, missed it on my first first GS LC and now have it on my new 1250 GS LC. It’s really useful in 20/30/40 zones and was a godsend on the long boring roads of north west France on tour this year.

I use it all the time in my car too, but most of those miles are on business travelling on boring motorways
