Re: Log shed kits
I'd love to build my own but not quite brace enough. I know I'd end up making a bodge job and although I'm sure I could make a rectangular box putting in windows, doors and a solid roof would be my Achilles.

12'x12' is standard stable size
maybe worth considering?

Concreat base
Concreat blocks
Make a wooden roof cover with felt tiles
Door frame and door wood or metal
Then fit vertical battons and clad the whole out side with log lap
Wood which looks like a log cabin
I have seen the cost of them self build large shed / workshops and they way more than concrete blocks they are designed for the DIYer get down to jewsons and price the blocks ect
Worked out cheaper on my build and will last a lot longer

Re: Log shed kits
I build mine last Summer. Concrete base, angle iron frame, timber clad, back of a fag packet design.
The rough old one next to it has gone now, I'm building a reclaimed brick one to replace it this Spring.
Sheds rule!

We suffer with moisture a lot here in the Pennines. I could do with something that keeps moisture at bay. But that I expect is going to be a combination of systems such as dehumidifier and all sorts.
