Bargin dry bags
Re: Bargin dry bags
Been using my Lomo bag for a few years now in preference to my 90ltr thing, much more convenient with the side opening, and stops me taking too much jun.. er stuff.
Re: Bargin dry bags
I've got one of those 40 ltr lomo bags and think it's superb! I got that one cos it opens side to side as opposed to one end. I find it a lot easier to fill/empty.

Or you could go for the original Dry Bags Ortlieb http://www.ortlieb.co.uk/
I have Just seen the prices of the otlieb bags wow
I know they are very good I had 1 in the Army years a go at least 8 years?
it had been thrown out of Helicopters/Planes & bounced around in landrovers
Bedford's & Rigid Raiders & Never ever let me down.
2 years a go I brought a new bag but yellow this time my original was Black.
I suppose the length of service it gave me, I probably would pay the 'extra'
like they say you pay's your money and take your chance, I notice some of
the other dry bags only heat seal or only tape seal.
worth reading the Spec first.
BTW I still have some of them 40 ltr Dry Bag's from Aldi if any one is interested

Re: Bargin dry bags
Thanks for the links guys. The Lomo bag looked a good buy until they charged over £17 for delivery to Spain! Overboard ask for only £5.99 - but they sold out of their excellent 60 litre duffel bag and have dropped the line while I was divering over replaceing the one that I melted on the way to Portugal in July - I won't forget the handy hit about the reinforcing plank!
In the meantime it's back to the drawing the oversized dry sac from last year!
Cheers

ortleib bags from ortleib or a retailer are expensive but shop around and be creative online and you will be surprised how cheap you can get them, especially "last years" models.Selous wrote: I have Just seen the prices of the otlieb bags wow......................

i also got 2 of those 40ltr bags from aldi, i dont need them but at that price it was silly not to get them when i saw them. quality compares ok with ortleib as does the cheapo 'milcom' 110ltr bag (yes, ive got an even bigger one!) i bought on fleabay. its a big waterproof bag to strap on the bike, it doesnt need any frills

Tarry not, and fear not, chosen of the true;
Lover of the Lone Trail, The Lone Trail waits for you"
