Blimey mate the quicker that scaffolding comes out and a proper job is done the better.
It'll look similar to this hopefully ? Be prepared for a long recovery (I had a further five op's on mine). NHS have done a blinding' job, but you need to put a lot of effort in yourself too. From day one it's all about physio and keeping it moving, that'll do the job ! My shoulder was only part of my injuries, but no matter how bad ? I always say "It could have been worse" Chin up,press on an you'll be right as rain ! (thumbs) .
If you can get to a pool, swirling your arm in the water is a great start to recovery (thumbs)

I feared the worst when the original thread disappeared, glad you are almost in one piece and good luck for a speedy recovery.after a three week time lapse the ABR accident investigations team will only be able to come up with wild guesses, bizarre theories and false rumours

Good to hear you're at least on the road to recovery mate(thumbs) .The sooner you get some proper engineering into that shoulder the better!
Hopefully we'll have you back out and about sooner rather than later.
You need anything,let me know!
Derek.

Ok I've had my second op. Doc took away the French metalwork as the screws where cutting into the cup of my shoulder which was causing the pain. Won't ever be the same but he's hopeful of a fair recovery. Gawd bless the awl NHS.
