I've an Akito Desert jacket and trousers (not matching though!) for dress outings, a Buffalo cordura jacket with leather trousers and a sporty cordura RST for throwing on with my jeans to nip round to the shops.

The Akito stuff's been ok, two weeks touring in Germany and the removable linings were handy due to heat then replaced when cooler heading home.

The Buffalo has been a good jacket to me, toured Europe a couple of times with it and never let me down. Can't fault leather trousers, well, apart from you need waterproofs over them if it rains!

Has anyone got any Rev'it stuff? Although a little too late if anyone has any negatives as I've already bought jacket and trousers (yes matching!!) How about boots? (...though only considered if they had matching...pink of course) :side: Any comments welcome...

I have my trusty GEAR jacket from 12 years ago with plenty of cosmetic damage from various offs, been repaired twice as well.

For wet days i have my MQP jacket (some dutch firm that went bust) the jacket is great and i have even used it for paintballing a few times as the armour means the paint balls have no effect, ha ha!!

I have a personalised Moto Guzzi one I bought a month before I traded guzzi in for my BMW :S

Yep, I've got an Off Track jacket. It's now called something else though, Sand I think.

It's well made and water proof with the liner in, and warm enough with the thermal liner in too. Couldn't afford the trousers so I've no idea what they are like. Had it almost a year now and it's wearing fine, no problems really.

I have a lovely SPYDER (black) ski jacket that I use when riding pillion, matching SPYDER gloves also in black and black Berghaus walking boots (which I also go dancing in). Think somehow I need to invest in some cool new gear...hmmm!!

Having said that, I've never felt cold or gotten wet on the back of the bike.

I'm on the lookout for a decent (and reasonably ressession friendly) jacket at the moment, so cheers for the posts everyone!

Been keeping an eye on Hein Gericke stuff. Chatting with Colin Masters (of Wrinklies Wround the World) and he swears by their kit and was wearing Tuareg legs at the time. I overheat in my current budget Frank Thomas gear, so am ready to appreciate the next step up in quality and comfort.

HG TRG suit for me. Love it so far - waterproof, warm, and heaps of ventilation and waterproof pockets.
