Last time we went we booked early October and got an apartment in the older part of the town. Ok, they may cost a bit more as will the flights but there'll still be plenty of places.

Give it another couple of races like yesterdays one and there won't be a place in town (thumbs)

No shortage of cracking apartments on Air BnB. Two bed room apartments for £50-60 per night. Much cheaper than hotels. Plus, I'm not paying!

Now what have you made me do!

I've booked a hotel in Valencia and we're probably going to fly into Castellon (50 miles up the coast) because it's about £100 each return rather than closer to £300 if we go to Valencia.

Bugger - now you've got me thinking about it - I only looked at flights to Valencia and they were quite expensive so discounted the idea :pinch:

That's flying out from Stansted on Saturday morning then home Tuesday morning. I've not booked them yet and need to consult with my wife as to whether we should go Fri-Mon or Sat-Tues. I suspect she'll go for the Fri-Mon option because it's her birthday Friday and given the choice of a hotel at Stansted or one in Valencia on your birthday which would you choose? :)

Now to get her to pay half :pinch:

edit: No flights Friday apparently. Stansted airport for a birthday meal then

I'm not going to help you here because I've just checked again and that was £104 return for both of us.

£50 for a return flight???? You'd be daft not to at that price.

Might bump into you in Valencia then. I last saw you you were limping off Gatesgarth Pass with a poorly motorbike...
