less than a 10er if you shop in uk or flea bay it for hong kongers for less than a 5er
Would this work? I had a wee squint at this wasn't sure if it would work with audio cabling? I suppose for the peanuts that it costs I will give it a go.

Cheers, I will let you know how I get on. :)

Im no expert but at most it may just lose a bit of volume, better still get a long enough male/female 3.5mm cable then scrap the bigger 12v wire on the switch and run the audio cable straight into it, the simplest of circuits with a little soldering if not leave a few inch of the larger cable on the switch, strip, twist, tape, done, (thumbs) worth a try for the little cost like you say, one thing to be aware of tho some audio cable for things like headphones etc i dont know if you have ever noticed but when you cut or strip it back it sometimes has like cotton mixed in with the copper but ive seen more with just copper although the cheap cables on ebay i think will be pure copper

If you're using certain Android phones, you can, in the settings, boost the capacitive screen to work with gloves.

Clever hey?

With some APPS, Rocket Player does it for sure, you can set it to restart when you connect headphones.
