Hi Maria, I'd be honoured

So did you guys survive Appleby without your gates or anything else vanishing?

Yeh, just about!
We had a nice little message behind the big green building, when one of them wanted the loo but found them locked up.
But compared to some, we got off lightly.

I was out in West Wales this weekend and managed to notch up NP number 8 in the shape of the Pembrokeshire National Park visitor centre in Newport, took a lovely route over the Preseli Hills taking in some nice coastline too B)

Another fine sunny day and another Nature Rally destination (#9) knocked off the list :P

The observant will notice this rather nice Southern location was not visited on one of my usual trusty steeds, but a spanky new GS1200 courtesy of an extended test ride from those rather nice chaps at Vines of Guildford :)

Having seen James 691 recent posts made me realise I hadn't added my Brecon Beacons destination acheived at The ABR Boil rally on October 8th-9th.

Unfortuantely I don't have any photos with my rally card, as we were under a fair bit of pressure that day taking in Sarn Helen & The Gap...before night came

Here are a couple of shots from then..hope your ok with that JimboF650

Yeah :)

I'm happy that's him and I'm happy that's the Beacons - its a dodgey one as it is not the car park shot of the visitor centre but being Christmas time and all I'm letting it in.

Congrats on the Bronze

Cheers Jimbo

Thanks guys :)

Well, I woke up reasonably sober after office do last night and thought it would be a good idea to find the infamous Itchycoo Park....my 11th destination - silver award here I come.......NOT

I trundled up the A3 to London and past all the thousands of tourists, took in loads of the London landmarks (Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge, The Shard, The Gerkin, London Eye etc) and eventually found the Little Ilford Park, via the Dar es Saleem mosque B)

Of all the rally destinations I have completed - this was the toughest by far as the temperature was really cold and I also hit some rain showers, I seemed to get stopped at every set of traffic lights + I think my cable operated clutch is causing me tendonitus (good excuse to justify getting a Tenere I reckon ;) ) + London cage drivers are generally so aggressive so cant ever relax.
