i have had a Kirmit chair for 4yrs now and is as good as new!!!
but when bought it cost around $70 plus import and postage this came to £120.
most here have posted that its a stupid price to pay ,,,,,, and yes its expensive(at £120)but is good.
i would think again at £189+ thats getting silly.
i did buy 2 kirmit chairs from a frend for £90(the pair) early this year, i passed them on to a couple of mates for the same price.

Re: Kermit Chair
The annoying thing about Kermit is they don't tell you how much the postage will be when you go to checkout. For a lightweight item the postage is very expensive. If you display your VAT number on the incoming item you don't pay 20% VAT, only the EU import duty.
The chair is good, if I got a present of one I would treasure it as it clearly will fit inside my panniers.
But I wouldn't spend the money on one.
The leg extensions are an optional extra.
