I have the Evoline 2 and find whilst it hardly mists up at all it is almost too well ventilated for cold weather riding, but that was sorted with a a cheap balaclava.
I also found compared to the Caberg Trip it replaced I had to adjust my screen. In turbulence it is very noisy, far noisier than the Trip. Out of turbulence it is pretty quite. So the Shark seems to be more sensitive to wind noise, but get it right and it is fine.
Helmet choice; Schuberth/Shark
Re: Helmet choice; Schuberth/Shark
Schuberth for me! The pin lock never mists up and it's a quality helmet. Some great vids on you tube tells you how to strip them down for cleaning etc. also found it accepts the earpieces of my autocom nicely
Good luck it's personal choice

Depends a lot on where and when you are riding too. The Shark wins hands down in hot climates like Morocco as it doubles as a very nice open face.
My C2 was the quietest lid I have ever owned, really strange at first but a bit heavy.
It was finnaly replaced with a Shoei Neotech (not a C3 as Bonniebird reported) which is really nice And fairly quiet. So I use the Shark for hot places and the Shoei for not so hot places Simples

Schuberth for me, the helmet is so quiet, and at this time of the yr, so much cosier!
Honda, the power of dreams.
Re: Helmet choice; Schuberth/Shark
Jeremy, I'm surprised you have issues with the C.Justissimo. I'm on the 3rd one over the past 10 years ( see my avatar ) and price versus performance versus features versus versatility etc. I can't find many others to beat it ! I had the HJC and BMW off road motocross style helmets similar to the Tour-X, at triple the price of the C-J. I have ridden the C-J thru huge rainstorms and never had any issues. I agree its not the quietest helmet around, but surprised its worse as you described.
Re: Helmet choice; Schuberth/Shark
Managed to try on a Shark Evoline 2, a Schuberth C3 and a Shoei Neotec. Of the three the Shoei was the most plush feeling even more so than the Schuberth, but at even more of a premium. All three helmets felt comfortable. In the end I decided to go for the C3 based on its reputation for being quiet so it had better live up to it now I have spent my dosh. Phoned Helmet City yesterday lunchtime and it was here this morning. Now all I have to do is christen it with a ride out.
Comparing all these with the Justissimo, they all have more of a recess for the ears where the J has very little of a recess and it is my deduction that as the ears are then contacting the liner noise can be transferred from the outside to the ear through the ear plugs. With the other three the ends of the ear plugs are not in contact with the polystyrene liner so the tranmsission is very much reduced -> quieter helmet.
