New issue in the shops - why my copy not arrived?

Not defending anyone but we get this rant every issue, if your that worried get it from the shops or get a digital issue. It will come when it comes cheers Spud

If we get this rant every time maybe that's because there is a problem, like Canovas says it wont attract new customers with such poor service, and by people stopping subscriptions then that's losing business.

I have never seen a copy in any shops up this way .. since it started and since I am a grippy Scot , I would rather save the £6 over a year by subscribing and never miss an issue ..

I am sure that this issue is on Alun's Mind along with alot of other things including his other sister magazine .. I know that it can be very frustrating once the final print issue is out of his hands and relying on the printer, distributor and then the post office..

I say good on Alun and his team , for producing a great magazine that people are clambering to get the next issue.

Hopefully we can just get on with being patient and looking forward to a great magazine with no doubt excellent , heart pounding articles..
A magazine that is filled a niche and exactly what 99% of us wanted in a new mag..

Instead of ranting and moaning which gets very tiresome after a while .

that just goes to show WHsmiths have a more efficient distribution network than royal mail.

im not complaining if i get my mag a few days/a week later than the shops, i get it cheaper and dont spend petrol/time going to get it or spend any time in a crowd of infected coughers, or have it pre-handled on the shelf by people who are happy to wipe their arses but are allergic to hand soap

and i dont understand this obsession- who cares? if you are really anal about reading it first go and give Alun and the team a hand sorting it out.

i always thought you subscribed to a magazine for the convenience of having it mailed to your door, and thats all. theres no mention of an 'early' service. you do sometimes get them early, but in my experience they get earlier and earlier, some mags to the point of getting christmas editions in bloody october, ridiculous. you pay for 12 mags in january and your subs need renewing in october the cheeky sods. and subscribing is usually cheaper because mags want the convenience of mailing and the income from direct debits, but those things arent a given.

Hi all..well I got a copy today from "martins newsagents" not smiths so me and "frog friend" will be happy...

As for not waiting against the post..chill people lifes to short to winge and moan...Better still have a "mini Adventure " and deliver everybodys copy personnaly with a smile..now thats worth a page in the mag.. :laugh:

I have subscribed to dozens of mags over the years, but the reason i do is to make sure i get a copy, couldnt care less when i get it as i read them when i go offshore to work. Just read issue 7 last week and i have had it for ages!!. When the next issue arrives it goes straight into my rigbag, cellophane still on!! (hows that for willpower) till i go back to work. everybodys different, thats just what i do.
