I still think the pics are too big,,,,,,

Any how, Davsato,,,,,,, agree, drink too much,,,, hear voices,,,,, fight! Ha ha!

Thankfully I've grown out of that, as you would have seen at rallies we've met at!

I just drink and fall over now! Doing well tonight, not fell over yet!

Sorry Dave, your humour confuses me when I'm drunk! LOL!

Best thing when doing a report -

I have a propensity for doing long reports of a few thousand words plus about 300 meg of pictures.

Write the report on a word document of some sort - not directly to the post.

If you have issues with doing a picture resize and you have Facebook - load your pictures to Facebook as this will resize them automatically and then you can make a separate folder to store them on your desk top when you copy them back.

Paste the report (word) into the thread and enter.

Then click edit and keep adding pictures till you are done.

Or you can spread it out over a few posts.

Hope that helps

Also - thread moved from Newbie section to Technical.

You could also post the pictures (reduced) to a photo hosting site (photo bucket, Flickr, etc.) and post links to them in your report.

The end result looks the same but you put less stress on the upload to ABR. ;)

Thats my second attempt, what t'ells wrong with it>>>>
It's God's way of telling you you need to write it in something like Text Edit (Mac) or whatever the Windows equivalent is and copy / paste it into here. That way when the dark side disperses the electrons you can replace it rather than rewrite it. Don't ask me how I know this ....

With photographs, rather than attaching them directly to the report I've put them on (eg) Photobucket and pasted in the link instead. They're set up for that so the uploads are reliable (in my experience anyway). They get a bit shirty over acres of err.. "flesh" but if you've got loads of that in your pics I'd be wondering exactly what sort of ride you'd been on anyway. :woohoo: :woohoo:

When posting up longer stuff, if I haven't written it in Word, I highlight the text and "copy" before hitting "submit" then when it disappears into the ether, you can just paste it back again.

ah now video footage is something else again,
its wierd, it takes about 2 minutes to upload a 10 minute video onto youtube, but times out when i try and email it to someone. dont have any idea why, someone will be along in a bit to tell us
