Another lovely spot I stopped at earlier. On the western shore of Strangford Lough, have passed here many times before, but there are now two picnic tables to avail off

Stopped here this morning. US President Grant ancestral home, Dergenagh Road, Co Tyrone. Its a well served site, large carpark, toilets & a play area for kids with lots of picnic tables & seats. All was open at 9.15am.
Looks like the site is managed by the occupants of the house directly behind it, so everything was spotless.

Greetings,
I really enjoy your photos and locations.
A few weeks back I visited Whitehead for just a couple of hours although I only had time to travel by train from Belfast.

Hazelbank is where I grew up, just across the road in the Rushpark estate.Flintlock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 12, 2025 7:50 am Hazelbank Park, Newtownabbey. Located at the end of the M5, between Belfast & Carrickfergus. Public toilets here also.
