Land of Oak and Iron route from issue 82

G'day

Below is the GPX file for The Land of Oak and Iron route in issue 82 of the mag.

I'm a bit of a junkie when it comes to those road-side info boards that feature some random local history, and this route has plenty of good'uns.

It's remarkable to see these remnants of mines, smelters, furnaces, and factories and to think that not long ago at all that they were a hive of industry.

It's also a ripper of a day's ride across the North - I threw one gravelly green lane in there but there's more around if you fancy and you've got the time.

Don't forget, it pairs nicely with James' Wainwright Coast to Coast route in issue 65 if you're looking for a return journey back east.
