The day I went looking for a 950SM, a Saturday back in 2008, I started at P&H to try a used bike, stopped off in Croydon to cross check with a ride on a Speed Triple then set off for Brackens, just off the Old Kent Road.
There was an experimental bikes in bus lane trial going on so my whole journey into London and back out into Kent was in bus lanes. The first sign advertising it that I saw started me off.
When I got home I found out it was only a couple of short sections and not the whole of London.
I guess the cameras weren’t working or only photographed the front numberplates as nothing happened.
