Road sign that could be used almost anywhere.

Reports, meets and other stuff on how to trash the bike with a grin on your chops.

Just posted it onto the Farming Forum where there is a discussion on rural road maintenance..... or complete lack of!

However, as some of the "old timers" here will know, today's badly maintained road is tomorrow's washed out track, ready for fun and games!!

We were in Tuscany a few years ago and their widespread practice, where any rural back road was deteriorating, was to downgrade it to a ‘track’ and just pour a load of dusty gravel over the top. That would be the end of any maintenance.
Our brand spanking new Alfa rental car was absolutely rot within 100 yards, let alone a week of countryside meandering.

Better not let those wan%*ers in the Senedd see that post, else they will start on anything N of the Heads of the Valley road. All rural roads down to horse and cart status in mid Wales!

All part of their "20 is Plenty" crapfest! :x

There is talk of Extending the 20 to more parts of Wales, and regions of the UK, and also, other countries are very interested.

The rural roads in Wales are much better than the rural roads in Cornwall.

And the 20 mph limit on Coedely hasn't worked very well.

I was thinking the same when those 3 lads died in Coedely, "so much for the 20 limit then" ..
All laws are only for the Law-abiding.
Some believe Laws 'are there to be broken' .. or actually present a challenge to the macho of us .. Let's face it, we've all been guilty at some time.
Some believe that Laws are a 'Guidline' to be approximately followed by a sensible person.

The fact is that Laws are squiggles on a piece of paper, or some digital stuff in a computer chip.
Following the Law is in reality in the mind of the human person. And applied to themselves as fits that individual.
Laws are made by self-important rulers, and applied on the ground by corrupt individuals.
Laws are a good guideline followed by good people.
When Laws become onerous or unjust or simply a means of population control by the greedy rich .. then we have insurrection or mass rejection by right- minded populace.

In Wales certainly, recently, there have been numerous deaths on the road, and multiple accidents and road closures
Something is going wrong.
Are people rebelling against what they see as unjust laws, over-contol by distanced dictators, cut off from reality on the ground?
Cost of living crisis imposed by the government and rich companies and political policies?
Reactions to Government Lockdown. ?
Mental health crises, lack of NHS funding.?
Poor roads infrastructure, and lack of investment.. then shit upon through our water systems and laughed at or ignored but those same profiteers?

We are spoilt for choice on this subject.. o .. let's not forget Brexit and the removal of our travel rights to sunny lands ..

I must stop there now .. as I feel sick ..

Work it out for yourself.
