Re: crf250 Rally
do you recommend the 110 rear, Bob?
I was thinking of it?
and HD tubes rather than mousses?
Ebay got a pair front and rear for £110 or £120 for the 120 rear + front

Re: crf250 Rally
I use 110 on the rear for the DR350, and 120 on the DRZ as it has more space. The total tread width on both is nearly10mm more than the figure.

crikey ... that was quick ... Ebay and Parcelforce.
I was just getting ready to go riding when the doorbell rang.
I wasnt expecting them until tomorrow.
Should i fit them myself? pay fit to loose wheels, pay for fit to bike?

Re: crf250 Rally
I was using the last of my mt21s, not that I am skingy or anything, but they are too worn to keep for next summer and I don't want old tyres hanging about.
I was surprised how quickly the front mt21 wore down, and how the rear lasted. but they both wear quickly.
The front now needs urgent replacing, so I will fit that (new one) soon, but run the old one at the rear until its well worn.
Don't worry, I won't be able to stop myself giving you all an in depth and completely unnecessary full report lol.

Re: crf250 Rally
The CRF250rally is a beautiful do-it-all bike that can tackle long tarmac Roads and medium mountain trails, but I find it too heavy and too top-heavy, for trails, and too nobbly-wobbly for tarmac. I would never sell it, as its so versatile, comfortable and economical, making about 90+ mpg.
A lighter bike with low centre of gravity would be nice... in addition, lol.
