Glad to hear you are on the mend Russ. Ive always liked the routes you have taken us on when we have a jolly boys outing to Salisbury Plains, so how about you organise a 'Plain Rally' over a weekend! i would come (and smudger will bring the stogie's!!) im sure there would be a good turn out for something like that with plenty of camp sites nearby and fantastic riding on the doorstep.Tramp wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 4:52 pm Godspeed.... Sounds like you need another trip to France......looking like our usual trip to St Leon in May 2022 if that interests you. Usual venue, terms and conditions as they say.catcitrus wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 3:18 pm Basically I haven't got the time , patience and inclination to either view or make any kind of video. Personally the travelling is about me, the bike and my thoughts and memories and I can't be arsed to spend hours bigging anything up on you tube etc. Now having a natter around a campfire with a few mates is another matter altogether. Back to the Overland event you can choose which presentations you see -and to be honest some of them are so ill prepared for their trips its a wonder they survive. I'm no round the world traveller but I've done some long solo trips--and my memories are the precious thing.

Re: I know I’ll be shot down for this….
Be delighted to see you again. I am thinking of going about 21 May, arrive Sunday 22nd May, leave about Friday morning 10 June and looks like Will is on for it too so I need to clear the dates with him but at most they end up being a week earlier.
Both of us have trailers so usual facilities like proper chairs, table, tarp, electric cool box etc all on hand,
Enjoyed your last visits so hopefully you can get there. Odds are I take the 83 K100RS as its more than passed its trailer pulling test.
Your basin has also had yet another outing........
