Yep, think it was. They use that snazzy new wavy-roofed pit lane now.

I never much liked racing at Silverstone. It always felt just too big for bikes. Sure the facilities were very good. Loads of room to set up, parking etc etc. But the width of the track was SO different to our other tracks, especially Cadwell Park!, that it felt alien. Fast, though, and the Copse to Hangar Straight section is good. I came off in the wet once at that kind of chicane just after Stowe/Vale and I never even reached the edge of the track. Just got up and carried on.bill_qaz wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 11:04 amOnly F1 and Moto gp the rest of the bikes still use the old garages even bsbdaveuprite wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 11:23 pmYep, think it was. We were racing in stop/start rain, constantly trying to decide between inters and wets. It was miserable. The last racing that had taken place was the weekend before and that was classic 1930s Bentleys and the like - so they had left shed-loads of oil all over the track. Then add some fresh rain and it was lethal. Loads of offs. You had to tip-toe round anything tight at jogging pace.

Having watched, and enjoyed, a fair bit of the Glastonbury highlights over the weekend, the following observations of annoyance.
The number of acts who clearly have no ability to perform (read sing) live.
Audience Flags.
People who have to sit on someone’s shoulders.

You shouldn't pick on dwarves, especially as six out of seven dwarves are not happy.
