Gets a big thumbs up from F9, great video, always worth watching anything from these guys.
I think F9 is a brilliant review channel. Funny and often very intelligent tests. The T700 looks a very interesting bike but its still over 200kg with only 70bhp...... cant help think it would be a dog on the longer motorway trips......
you would be susrprised by the mt engine ..it just have oodles of proper shove low down just where you need it ..i know the engine quite well ,,the original mt07s were geared 16/43 the tenere is 15/46 with the same internals and primary drive ...im getting to grips with it now and think i need to go maby 48 for off road ..cut first out near compleatly im using third most on the standard gearing off road and can still easily connect third at 10mph on slippy stuff
if you wanted to go the other way the bike will cruise efforlessly at 85 standard and travel at a serene 5400 revs with mt gearing ..power is not really much good unless you can tame it enough for wet grass and the like and the mt engine is just awsome at doing that engine is like elastic .... it may not have that zap at thehigher end of the rev range but it more than makes up for it as the 30 to 80range is braaaptasic
some of the hype is overdone but having ridden the competition tigers africa twin 800 gs ect ..this is deffinatly a step forward in the off road feel ergos and ease of use ..heavy but not tippy ..you will recognise i think that it will feel more managable than those types ..ive been surprised railing a ploughd feild with dodgy tyres and the chassis really does stack up well
got to end up being a classic motor like the sv 650s but way better ..... i was so glad they didnt put the 900 tripple in it as in the ral world for me the 07 engine is better for sure ..test one you wont be worried about sitting at 90all day long
