See Bodmin Bikers on BBC website

Also...we are constantly being told that there are distribution problems in getting PPE to hospitals etc. The nation's pallet networks, which can collect consignments from one pallet up to a truckload from any UK mainland postcode and deliver it overnight to any other postcode, have offered to help.

But, no, the army must do it (using trucks better suited to transporting ammunition across Salisbury Plain than boxes down motorways), and handball every box on and off because it makes a better photocall.

Yep Id suggest given the number of volunteers the calls are probably limited to your local vicinity, so around 1/2 to 1 mile from your location.

No calls here either, i have been registered over a week now. When you look on the map at the local area there are about 20 registered within half a mile or so of me.

Signed up myself Unsure if the Goodsam scheme is operating here in Wales but have had confirmation from them, Independently shopping and chemist runs etc for those hibernating in my street also on a local volunteer group as well as local NHS, Old age etc. Had to fit the Vario Panniers first time in 5+ years to carry all the shopping, I get some dirty looks out on the bike but its all ligit. Do what you can people to help those who need, its a nice feeling and a little ride too.
