Double take adventure mirrors

Post by v8mark »

Just a few words about the new mirrors i brought from Rugged roads Double Take Off Road Mirrors Rugged Roads were great fast delivery, these are a great improvment over my ducatis standard mirrors with more adjustment and better mirror area with the added benefit off just moveing them out the way when off road then back when needed , easy adustment with quality Ram mounting . Being mounted on a 1"rubber ball adds to the dampening from vibration infact i didnt get any . A couple of draw backs that i can see 1 is the cost , with my extra needed thread inserts the total was 136 delivered and 2 could be stolen easily but in genral for me and my type of riding absolute great addition

I’ve had a pair for a couple of years now, survived a few offs, easy to adjust on the fly, overall very good.
Just incredibly expensive for what they are, I looked everywhere for similar without any luck. I guess they cornered a small market and ask what they want?

Haa. Way overpriced for the quality of manufacture, but never the less, a unique product on the market.

I've never understood why people are willing to spend so much on a pair of Double-take mirrors when you can buy these from Amazon for just £15 a pair including the universal fitting.

Greetings,

I bought mine off eBay, excellent service too;

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11cm-Long-Ha ... 2749.l2649

Probably not to the same quality but work just fine for me.
